This son of Harry Angel has had five jump-outs, improving at each one, which is encouraging heading into his debut run.

He trucked right through the line in his latest jump-out and although Fire Follower would be better suited over further, he looks to have plenty of class.

Not convinced that there is a heap of quality as we go through this field, so sticking with a horse that I feel is progressive and will prove the best horse in this field.

A debut winner at Pakenham by three-lengths when leading all the way, this colt by in-form stallion Russian Revolution will look to repeat the dose.

I do feel that he has come up a tad short in the early markets with so many un-exposed horses, but concede that he looks the best of those to race.

The Instructor should be the one to go through and hold the lead, but if something crosses and can pester him in front, I would like to be with one coming from midfield to grab him late.

2023 Blue Diamond Preview (C&G) Value Bet - Krakarib

A winner of the Maribrynong Plate at start two, this colt has been given a 2kg penalty to carry compared to his rivals, but arguably has won the best race of those exposed.

His two jump-outs leading into this run have been a tick, but the Ribchester blood tells me that Krakarib will get over further once he matures.

He is the horse that I am looking at towards a race such as the VRC Sires Produce, but would not be shocked to see him finish inside the top three in this.
