Star Godolphin four-year-old Bivoauc has arguably taken over the mantle as Australia's best sprinter and has drawn barrier six for the 2021 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes.

The three-time Group One winner worked strongly behind Nature Strip in a Rosehill trial on January 27 and the Waller-trained speedster will jump from gate two under Jamie Kah.

He was the best sprinter in the world prior to last spring and will be joined in the final field by stable mate September Run (barrier three) for this $750,000 Group One.

She finished as the premier three-year-old sprinter in the 2020 spring when taking out the Coolmore Stud Stakes.

Western Australian mare Fabergino (barrier seven), dual Group One winner Pippie (barrier four) and returning three-year-old Swats That (barrier eight) are also among the acceptances.

The 2020 Winterbottom Stakes winner Elite Street (barrier five) will make his Melbourne debut and has the services of jockey Mark Zahra.
