An even set of three-year-olds are set to line up for the 2021 Australian Guineas with 2020 Caulfield Guineas winner Ole Kirk heading the field after a disapointing run in the WFA Futurity Stakes last week. He has barrier 15 to contend with to get the Guineas double.
Tagaloa and Aysar have been running against each other at both starts this campaign, with Aysar winning their first battle before Tagaloa dug deep and was too good in showdown number two. Aysar has drawn two and Tagaloa 10, giving the tick slightly Aysar's way.
One of the more interesting runners is the WA galloper Dom To Shoot who has finally drawn a good gate. With a suck run behind the speed, he is the three-year-old who can take the next step.
Three-year-old filly Zou Dancer won her Maiden at Dunkeld four starts back and is now a fairytale hope of winning a Group One with Victoria's best jockey Jamie Kah in the saddle.
