2020 Karaka Millions 3YO Classic Tips- Will Probabeel assert her dominance?

The Karaka Millions 3YO Classic is restricted to 3YO fillies, colts and geldings over the distance of 1600m.

The race is worth $1M and can often be a race that Australian horses target.

Last year Australian galloper Long Leaf took out the event after competing in some of Australia's best 3YO races.

This year, Probabeel has a strangle hold on the event after a strong Australian campaign, from Conqueror and Harlech.

Karaka Millions 3YO Classic Best Bet - Probabeel

She is by far the best 3YO in this race and has proven at the elite level in Australia.

She came in off of a 13 week break on the weekend to score in classy fashion as an unbackable favourite. It was exactly what the punters wanted to see as she cruised around the track under Opie Bosson before unleashing a tremendous turn of foot to record a comfortable two length win.

She won on this day last year when taking out the 2YO version of this race before once again trekking over to Australia.
She is three from three at the track and should be making it four from four after this race.

Karaka Millions 3YO Classic Next Best Bet - Harlech

His run in the Remus Stakes on December 28 was fantastic, settling out the back before peeling the widest on the turn to storm home late, looking as if he will eat up the mile.

Before this run, he was a winner of a Group Two in October before running second to possible superstar Catalyst in the New Zealand 2000 Guineas.

I think Catalyst would run as the favourite in this race had he been running, over Probabeel.

He was just 2.3 lengths away from Catalyst and although I could imagine the gelding and Probabeel going head for head down the straight, this bloke would not be far away.

I think he is the clear second pick in the race and should be swapped in the market with Conqueror who has been running okay in strong races in Victoria.
