Echuca Racing Tips For March 8 - Can Field Of Lights shine bright?

A very heavy is track what we are currently seeing at Echuca, the rail true and the field likely to come wide once that fence chops out.

We need to be following wet trackers, horses that are proven on the wet ground so we know we are still alive in out bets.

Lindsay Park have a nice horse in the fourth while a horse in race six is a genuine wet track specialist.

Echuca Best Bet

Race 4 No. 4 Field Of Lights

This horse already boasts a heavy track win in maiden company over a very strong galloper from the Dwyer stable.

He was okay last start at Moonee Valley where he came wide and could not make up enough ground on the first two place getters who are both nice types.

This race is a lot weaker on paper and his form looks super strong coming onto the wet surface.

The blinkers are applied for the first time so Lindsay Park must have him ready to go at juts his fifth run to date.

If he can reproduce the heavy track win from two starts back, this Lindsay Park galloper has to be our best bet of the day.

Echuca Next Best Bet

Race 6 No. 2 Cath's Village

Way over the odds in this race for a genuine heavy tracker specialist.

She has only been beaten once on a heavy track and has ran in the top three five times on the soft going.

She is a previous winner first up, and comes into this race off the back of a quiet trial at Cranbourne on March 3rd.

The form around Petrelle, Grey Shadow and King's Brook reads well for this, all horses a lot better than 70 grade.

If the track stays boggy, Cath's Village will take a lot to hold out and that $5.50 will shorten right up.
