This galloper from the O'Brien yard looks incredibly tough to beat after such an encouraging first-up run at Flemington behind Garner.
We also see the Melbourne Cup winning combination team up once again.
Drawing barrier four means this gelding with have the gun run in transit or they may even take up the lead.
Stepping back out to the 1400m is a query but he has proven himself at city level and I would rather my money on the horse we know is up to this level than once who still has a big question next to their name.

His win fresh last preparation was eye-catching when running home in the fastest splits of the day. He struggled to find his best after that run but that performance alone would see him win this race.
He draws nearer to the outside but that will not worry his pattern being a run on horse anyway.
Luke Currie has been riding well and hopefully we can see him get the best out of this galloper at big odds.

Race 3 No. 3 Creedence
It is hard for anyone to argue that he was not the best run to come out of what is a very strong race on paper into this race.
The form around Shared Ambition has to be the strongest B grade staying form because he is so highly regarded as a Group One prospect for the next 12 months.
Running second to him was a big effort and he comes into this race in top form.
This race has many consistent stayers, but he does look to have a class edge on most of this field, making him our Ballarat Cup Day racing tip of the afternoon.

Making one of my better bets on the day a first starter in the clockwise race sounds very gutsy and somewhat dumb, but the Freedman know how to train a two-year-old.

We now see a filly from the stable debut after a great jumpout and I am expecting a very bold performance first up.
