The PGA Tour makes its fourth stop in Texas this season, where the world's elite players will compete for the Charles Schwab Challenge. Who will conquer the Colonial and lift the trophy come Sunday?

Emiliano Grillo is back to defend his title after a playoff victory over Adam Schenk in 2023.

Past and present major winners that will tee off on Thursday include Scottie Scheffler, Brian Harman, Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Lucas Glover, Justin Rose, Adam Scott, Webb Simpson, Zach Johnson, Jimmy Walker and Gary Woodland.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa has been in excellent touch on the PGA Tour since April, placing T3 at the Masters, 9th at the RBC Heritage, T23 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T16 at the Wells Fargo Championship and T4 at the PGA Championship last weekend.

Other notable results achieved by Morikawa this season include finishing T5 at the Sentry, T14 at the AT&T Pebble Beah Pro-Am and T19 at the Genesis Invitational.

The two-time Major champion has made four appearances at the Charles Schwab Challenge, placing 2nd in 2020, T14 in 2021, T40 in 2022 and T29 in 2023.

Morikawa has been in great shape lately and will fancy his chances to come out on top at the Colonial this weekend.

Max Homa

Max Homa has been playing well on the PGA Tour since mid-February, placing T16 at the Genesis Invitational, T8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T64 at the Players Championship, T25 at the Valero Texas Open, T3 at the Masters, T55 at the RBC Heritage, T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship and T35 at the recent PGA Championship.

Additional highlights achieved by Homa this season include finishing T14 at the Sentry and T13 at the Farmers Insurance Open.

The world's ninth-ranked golfer has featured four times at the Charles Schwab Challenge, with results of T27 in 2019, MC in 2020, T23 in 2022 and T9 in 2023.

Homa has been posting solid results and can lift the trophy in Texas come Sunday.

Min Woo Lee

Min Woo Lee had an impressive start to his season on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, securing victory at the Fortinet Australian PGA Championship, placing 3rd at the ISPS Handa Australian Open and finishing T21 at the American Express.

Lee struggled to maintain that level of play after those performances, finishing T43 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T71 at the WM Phoenix Open, T2 at the Cognizant Classic, T44 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T54 at the Players Championship and MC at the Valspar Championship.

Lee's subsequent three starts have been better, placing T22 at the Masters, T24 at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson and T26 at the PGA Championship last weekend.

The 25-year-old Australian golfer missed the cut at the Charles Schwab Challenge on debut in 2022 before finishing T40 in 2023.

Lee has been showing signs he is ready to bounce back to the form he showed earlier in the season.

Thomas Detry

Thomas Detry has been in great touch on the PGA Tour in recent months, placing T17 at the Valspar Championship, T2 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, T28 at the RBC Heritage, T8 at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, MC at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson and T4 at the PGA Championship last weekend.

Other noteworthy performances achieved by Detry this year include finishing T20 at the Farmers Insurance Open and T4 at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

The Belgian golfer finished T21 at the Charles Schwab Challenge on debut last year.

Detry has yet to secure his maiden PGA Tour title but has the form to cause an upset victory at Fort Worth this weekend.

Morikawa has been in excellent touch and has claims for the title at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Homa has threatened to produce a winning performance lately and can emerge as the winner at Forth Worth come Sunday.
Min Woo Lee has been thereabouts in recent starts and can feature prominently at the Colonial this weekend.
Detry has shown he can mix it with the best on the PGA Tour and is the long-shot value bet in Texas.
