The 2023 US Open is set to take place at the Los Angeles Country Club in California. The competition will pit the best golfers in the world against each-other yet again, with 2022's iteration of the tournament proving to be incredibly entertaining.

In 2022, it was England's Matt Fitzpatrick that was able to secure the main prize as he finished in first-place. At -6, Fitzpatrick was chased all the way by America's Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris, who both ended on -5.

The thrilling contest in 2022 already has many bettors looking to wager on 2023's iteration of the competition, with many bookies already providing odds for their customers.

At the time of writing, Rory McIlroy is the favourite with bookmaker Ladbrokes at $11.00. Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler are not far behind at $13.00, with Justin Thomas available at $15.00.

Collin Morikawa ($21.00), Will Zalatoris ($21.00) and reigning-champion Matt Fitzpatrick ($23.00) are also available in the betting.

It is interesting to note that there is no major favourite to win the competition in 2023. Of course, this could change as the months go by, but it is telling that no golfer is able to solidify their place at the top.

This means that there is good value to be had in backing any of the golfers available. Of course, there is a lot of risk in backing any of the golfers, but if you can nail your pick, then there is excellent value to be enjoyed.
