This is the third final for the Scorchers, who have lost of both occasions they played in the decider in WBBL02 and WBBL03.

The Strikers finished fourth on the ladder despite ending the regular season with a nine-wicket loss to Melbourne Stars with that game a dead rubber.

Adelaide were seriously impressive in the Eliminator on Wednesday with Amanda-Jayne Wellington's 5/8 helping restricted Brisbane Heat to 114/8 before Katie Mack then struck an unbeaten 50 not out.

The Strikers then limited Melbourne Renegades to 83/8 before knocking off the runs in 10.5 overs with Mack 31 not out and her opening partner smashing 43 before being dismissed as the only wicket.

The Strikers lost their only previous final appearance when going down in the WBBL05 Final two years ago.
