Australia vs England 1st Ashes T20 Tips


The Women’s Ashes begins on Thursday with three Twenty20s, followed by one four-day test match and three one-day internationals.

Four points are awarded for a test victory and two for a win in a limited-overs game. Who will take the upper hand from the opening game?

  • Tammy Beaumont is the top run-scorer for England with 312 runs from her last 10 matches.
  • England’s Sophie Ecclestone has picked up 12 wickets from her last 10 matches.
  • Australia’s Jess Jonassen took the third most (23) wickets in the WBBL.

The most recent women’s Ashes series saw Australia comprehensively retain the trophy in England, 12-4.

England will be looking to reclaim the Ashes trophy for the first time since the 2013-14 series.
