Australia will play their second successive Test series on the sub-continent after beating Pakistan 1-0 in March this year.
The first two Test matches were drawn but Australia always looked the more likely winners. In the third Test a superb final innings bowling display saw the Aussies claim a 115-run win.
Australia will look to continue their fine long format form having beaten England 4-0 earlier this season in the Ashes.

Nathan Lyon will be the key figure for the Aussies, as he was in Pakistan recently. Steven Smith also returns and in the current squad is the only batsman with a century in Sri Lanka.
