Australia vs India 1st Test Betting Odds - Aussies favourites to win Adelaide Oval test

Australia are $1.75 favourites to win the 1st Test against India at the Adelaide Oval despite a host of injury problems in the preparation for the four-match series.

The opening test is a pink-ball test under lights and starts on Thursday afternoon at the Adelaide Oval with the hosts needing a reshuffle at the top of the batting order.

David Warner was already ruled out with a groin injury and his likely opening partner Will Pucovski suffered concussion in a tour game and is also out.

Despite question marks over the opening batsmen, with Joe Burns and Marcus Harris struggling in the recently completed tour match, the hosts are $1.75 to take a 1-0 lead in the Adelaide test with bet365.

India have come into $2.90 from $3.10 and a draw at the end of five days of test cricket is now $6.50 from $5.00.
