Bangladesh vs Australia Tips

Bangladesh hold a 3-0 lead and will look to make it 4-0 on Saturday. Australia's batsmen have struggled on the slow pitch in Dhaka and we can't see that changing. The hosts are tipped to win again.

Head to Head

Australia have been victorious in four of their last seven T20I matches but Bangladesh have won the last three. They lead the series 3-0 after winning the 3rd T20I by 10 runs in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Form

Bangladesh secured the series win against Australia by winning the 3rd T20I in Dhaka by 10 runs. That puts the hosts 3-0 up with two matches to play.

This has been a low scoring series thus far with the pitch conditions slow and not easy to score on. Batting first Bangladesh scored 127 runs, a good score given the conditions.

Mahmudullah top scored with a superb 52 while Shakib Al Hasan scored 26 off 17 balls. The hosts took an early wicket but struggled to make breakthroughs thereafter as Australia reached 70 for the loss of just one wicket.

Fortunately Bangladesh managed to keep the scoring rate low so once wickets did fall, the pressure was too much for the visitors. In the end Australia ended 10 short on 117 runs.

Bangladesh Team News

Russell Domingo will be very happy with his charges. They lead the series 3-0 without two of their most influential players in Tamim Iqbal and Mushfiqur Rahim.

Bangladesh could go for the same lineup as they look for a series whitewash.

Australia Form

Australia find themselves in horrible form going into the 4th T20I. They are 3-0 down in the five-match series after losing 4-1 against the West Indies in their last series.

Nathan Ellis was the pick of the Australia bowlers, taking 3-34 in four overs to restrict Bangladesh to 127 runs in their 20 overs. It was a difficult wicket to bat on so Australia were always going to be up against it.

After Matthew Wade was dismissed early, Ben McDermott and Mitchell Marsh put on a 63-run partnership. Alex Carey scored 20 off 15 balls late on as Australia tried to up the run rate but it was in vain as Australia ended on 117, 10 runs short of their victory target.

Australia Team News

Justin Langer made a few changes in the last match. Moises Henriques came in for Josh Philippe as Matthew Wade moved up the order to open.

Dan Christian also came into the side while another newcomer, Nathan Ellis impressed with the ball. They are all likely to get another opportunity in the 4th T20I.

Verdict

Bangladesh are backed to go 4-0 up in the series with another victory. The even consistent Shakib Al Hasan is tipped in the best Bangladesh batsman and man of the match markets.

Mitchell Marsh has scored 45, 45 and 52 runs in the opening three matches. He can yet again top score for Australia.
