New South Wales failed to go beyond 200 runs in either of their opening two, notching 180 and 162. In reply, Western Australia scored 258 and 85/2 to secure a comfortable win.
In their second match, New South Wales were better, but they barely avoided defeat in the game. Notching scores of 246 and 256, they saw Queensland score 477/6 declared. South Australia Form
South Australia have looked fairly good with the bat this season, but they have struggled with the ball in hand. Notching 230 and 207/7 in reply to Victoria's 310 and 344/7 declared, South Australia managed to cling onto a draw as Victoria failed to secure the three wickets they needed to win the match. The draw was something that South Australia would have been very happy to secure.
Their second match saw Tasmania run out as fairly comfortable winners in a seven wicket win. South Australia managed competitive scores of 227 and 252, but Tasmania battled to 245 and 235/3 to secure a win. Benjamin Manenti starred for South Australia as he notched scores of 59 from 74 and 85 not out from 96. However, he was ultimately let down by those around him.
