South Australia have been the standout team in the List A format this year with exceptional performances against some better teams in the tournament. Their batting has been led by Mackenzie Harvey, who leads the tournament run-scoring charts with 311 runs in six innings at a stunning average of 62.20.
Victoria are one of only two teams with a negative net run rate but have won more games than they have lost. While their losses have been big losses, they have also shown a propensity to win crucial moments so far this season.
South Australia Form
Nathan McSweeney will lead this team that also has some talented batters in Jason Sangha, Jake Lehmann and Harry Nielsen. South Australia, however, will rely on their spin bowlers which include Lloyd Pope and Ben Manenti.
South Australia are coming off a match where they were beaten after scoring 329, which will leave them with a bit of a sour taste. But they would want to quickly put that behind them with all at stake.
"We all know that it has been a long time since we have been able to win something," McSweeney said in the lead-up to the game. "So it would be special if we could do it. Our preparation this week has been elite so hopefully it translates to some good performances."

South Australia squad: Nathan McSweeney, Jordan Buckingham, Brendan Doggett, Daniel Drew, Mackenzie Harvey, Jake Lehmann, Ben Manenti, Nathan McAndrew, Harry Nielsen, Lloyd Pope, Jason Sangha, Liam Scott, Henry Thornton
Victoria Form
Victoria have relied on their bowling throughout this tournament and that will continue even in this contest. Peter Siddle and Sam Elliott have taken 14 wickets each. Siddle has done so at an average of 19.92. These two will continue to be key in the final.
Peter Handscomb, Marcus Harris and Sam Harper will be crucial batters for Victoria at a venue that will likely be friendly for batting.
Victoria Team News
Will Sutherland will lead Victoria with high expectations. Victoria announced their squad, which includes Scott Boland.
Victoria squad: Will Sutherland, Scott Boland, Harry Dixon, Sam Elliott, Peter Handscomb, Sam Harper, Marcus Harris, Campbell Kellaway, Todd Murphy, Fergus O'Neill, Ollie Peake, Tom Rogers, Peter Siddle
Verdict
South Australia have been in terrific shape this season but it looks like Victoria have a better team on paper. From an experience standpoint, Victoria have just a little more across the board to get on top of South Australia.
