England vs Australia ODI Match 1 Tips
If the T20I series between England and Australia is anything to go by it is going to be a real battle. Australia’s bowling depth still wins it though and their weapons with the bat will get them home in match one of the One Day International Series.

The Australians have often got off to good starts since coming to the UK playing in the T20 series. Travis Head has been consistent and I expect that after already getting his eye in the Australian opener will put in the foundations for the Aussie batsmen and score over his batting total of 37.5.
Mitchell Starc has spent the first part of this tour on ice and in the nets after being rested for both T20I series. The Aussie quick will be welcomed back into the side and will have an immediate impact and will claim a couple of wickets.

England Form
England bounced back from their worrying start against Australia with a much stronger performance with the bat in the T20 series with the Australians.
Liam Livingstone revived the English with a knock of 87 in match two of the tied series which followed a team-high 37 runs in the first match. Stand-in T20 captain and opener Phil Salt also pulled his weight in the absence of Jos Butler hitting 59 runs in the two matches.
Livingstone has also topped the English team with the ball in hand, claiming 5 wickets at an average of just 7.60 runs and an economy of 6.33. His 3/22 in match one was the best figures for any English bowler in the series and he followed it up with 2/16 in match 2.
England Squad
Jos Buttler (captain), Jofra Archer, Jacob Bethell, Harry Brook, Brydon Carse, Jordan Cox, Ben Duckett, Josh Hull, Will Jacks, Matthew Potts, Adil Rashid, Phil Salt, Jamie Smith, Olly Stone, Reece Topley and John Turner
Australia Form
It has been a decent Tour of the UK for Australia so far, winning 3 of 4 T20I that preceded the series.
The process of blooding some young players into the short form game has been a success and we have seen some strong performances from Cameron Green, Josh Inglis, Jake Fraser-McGurk and Xavier Bartlett, before suffering a side strain.
Travis Head has been, well Travis Head, putting in some great performances against both Scotland and England and his partnership with Matt Short has been a highlight of the batting for the Aussies along with the form of Josh Inglis coming in at 4.
With the ball it has been Sean Abbott leading the way, claiming consistent wickets for the Australians at a decent economy with 5 wickets against England at 8.86 per over.
Australia Squad
Mitch Marsh (c), Sean Abbott, Alex Carey, Nathan Ellis, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Cameron Green, Aaron Hardie, Josh Hazlewood, Travis Head, Josh Inglis, Marnus Labuschagne, Glenn Maxwell, Matthew Short, Steve Smith, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa
