On Sunday (March 28) the Wildcats hammered the Kings 89-65, a margin of 24 points, Perth’s most one sided win of the season, and their seventh-straight victory.
Sydney may yet make the playoffs this season, but Perth won’t be helping them – I’m backing the Wildcats to put on another awesome display on Thursday and defeat the Kings convincingly.

The Perth Wildcats are like the Lakers in the NBA or the Yankees in MLB – they are THE team, and when they playing well, it’s almost like the rest of the league gives up. In reality, there is still everything to play for, and while Perth are worthy favorites to win the NBL championship, the Sydney Kings can make the playoffs.
However, based off the shellacking Perth gave Sydney on Sunday, I have to back the Wildcats to win Thursday’s game convincingly, by at least ten points, in a match that will feature around 175 points.
