Sacramento Kings vs Phoenix Suns Tips
- Back De'Aaron Fox to clear over 26.5 points.
De’Aaron Fox’s points line has dropped and the odds are still on the high side at $1.94 to clear 26.5.
The Kings have been hit with injuries to key players lately with Richaun Holmes joining Marvin Bagley on the sidelines, which gives Fox even more offensive opportunity. Holmes only got injured two games back against New Orleans, but without him in the line-up, Fox’s usage has gone through the roof – he averages a usage of 30.7 for the season but his last two games have been 43.2 and 34.2 resulting in 43 and 33 points respectively.
The downwards skew on Fox’s points line may be because his two games against the Suns only produced 24 and 12 points, but this was the second and third games of the season. He only averaged 18.8 points in the first 13 games of the season, a far cry from his last 13 games where he’s averaging 30 points per game.
Phoenix is notoriously one of the better defensive teams in the NBA, but they have struggled slightly defending the point over the last month, with point guards scoring 6% above average making them the sixth easiest team over this time frame.
Fox has cleared 26.5 points in 15 of his last 20 games including five of his last six, whilst producing 30+ in seven of his last 13 games which you can currently get at $2.70. But if you’re after some safer value, take Fox to clear the 26.5 points line and multi it into a Phoenix win at $2.60 at Sportsbet.com.au
