OKC have been the dominant force all season long and have played extremely well in their three matchups against the Nuggets. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Nikola Jokic are the top two and only real contenders for the MVP this season with SGA leading the league in scoring and his team having the 2nd best record in the NBA.
Jokic on the other hand is having a career season which is amazing considering he has already won MVP 3 times. Just recently he became the only player to ever post a triple double with the numbers of 31 pts, 21 rebounds and 22 assists.
His team though have been inconsistent on a night to night basis, especially on the defensive end. They rank 23rd in the league in opposition points per game and have lost 3 of their last 4 road games including the most recent game in OKC.
My expectation is that Jokic will most likely get another triple double but Oklahoma will take the game based on their ability to play consistently on both ends of the court for the entirety of the game. One thing is for certain, there will be a smell of playoffs in the air with these teams having just played and the coaching staff of both teams able to adjust their game plan based on yesterday's game.

The 22-year-old power forward has averaged 18 points against the Nuggets this season and has yielded 15 points per outing. Aaron Wiggins scored just four points in the win on Sunday but is averaging 11.8 points per game this season.
