Which team has the longest AFL Premiership Drought?

With the Melbourne Demons breaking a 56 year premiership drought in 2021, St Kilda now clearly sit on top of this table, with the Saints 57 years between drinks following their sole flag in 1966.

There's then a gap of almost 30 years between the next longest drought, with Fremantle's entire AFL existence of 28 years yet to showcase any silverware.

Carlton (29), Adelaide (26), North Melbourne (25), Essendon (24) and Brisbane Lions (21) are the other teams with over two decades of fruitless seasons.
