The GWS Giants were too good for the Gold Coast Suns as they ran out 103-63 winners last week.
Head to Head
The Dogs fought to an 86-71 win back in May to make it five wins in a row for the side over the Giants. In their last 10, the Bulldogs have six wins, while the Giants have won four times.
Western Bulldogs Form
The Western Bulldogs have been enjoying an excellent season so far, but their recent form has seen what seemed like a near-certain top-eight finish put under threat.
Three wins in their last eight has seen the Dogs slip down to fifth on the ladder. While their destiny is very much in their own hands, the Dogs are only two points clear of 10th-placed Richmond, while they are only eight points above 14th-placed Gold Coast.
Clearly, the Dogs cannot afford to keep dropping points if they are to secure their place in the off-season. However, they face a very tough proposition when hosting a GWS side in fine form.
Western Bulldogs Team News
Baker and Khamis are both omitted, with Johannisen and Lobb coming in.

GWS Giants Form
The GWS Giants arrive for their latest match following a 103-63 triumph over the Gold Coast Suns, with this their sixth win in a row.
Their current run has seen the Giants move up to seventh on the ladder, leading ninth-placed Carlton by two points. While their spot in the top eight is not secured yet, they have been impressive in recent weeks.
The Dogs will be a tough opponent to face, but the Giants arrive with four wins in their last four away games, with GWS suddenly a genuine force on the road as they look to ruffle some feathers heading into the postseason.

Verdict
I am backing the Giants to win this one in a real battle. The Dogs will not take well to losing on their own turf, but I believe they will prove to be their own worst enemies in this clash.
