Richmond Tigers and Gold Coast Suns conclude the action for AFL Round 12 on Monday night when they collide at the Gabba. The Tigers were beaten by Port Adelaide last weekend, while the Suns come into this one the back of a thrilling draw with Essendon Bombers.

Richmond Form & Team News

The Tigers are in need of a win to boost their top four aspirations following a 21-point defeat at ladder leaders Port Adelaide last weekend. The left Richmond with a 6-4-1 record for the season and sitting six points adrift of the top four heading into this game.

It has been a mixed bag of form for the Tigers all season, but one thing they have done well is react to defeats. Will Monday's clash with the Suns follow the same trend?

Richmond have captain Trent Cotchin back, and have also recalled Jack Graham and Oleg Markov. Josh Caddy is left out with Jack Ross and Derek Eggmolesse-Smith also omitted for the game.

Defender Bachar Houli has not been named despite returning to training after completing quarantine requirements.

Gold Coast Form & Team News

Gold Coast Suns suffered a blow to their final hopes after heartbreaking draw with Essendon Bombers on Wednesday. Ben King levelled the scoress with two minutes remaining and team-mate Izak Rankine had the chance to win it after the siren. But he blew his chance to be a hero, dragging his set shot from 50m wide.

It is now four games without a win for the Suns, who are bidding to make the finals for the first time. Before the draw with the Dons, their positive start to the season had been undone following successive defeats to the Western Bulldogs, GWS Giants and St Kilda.

Gold Coast make three changes, significantly resting David Swallow and Jarrod Harbrow as well as leaving out Sean Lemmens. Alex Sexton is handed a recall after being left out of the draw with Essendon and Nick Holman and Caleb Graham also come back in.

The Gold Coast team for Monday's game is below:

B: C.Budarick, S.Collins, J.Lukosius
HB: J.Bowes, C.Ballard, C.Graham
C: L.Weller, H.Greenwood, B.Ellis
HF: B.Fiorini, S.Day, A.Sexton
F: I.Rankine, B.King, S.Flanders
FOLL: J.Witts, N.Holman, T.Miller
