Richmond return from the bye looking to find some consistency after an agonising 85-81 defeat to West Coast Eagles in Perth.

The Tigers have been struggling to string a run of results together and now sit at 7-6 for the season in eighth spot.

Prior to losing to the Eagles in a game brought forward a week, Richmond had won two straight for the first time since Rounds 1 and 2.

They were 111-83 winners over Adelaide Crows before beating Essendon Bombers 123-84 in Dreamtime in Perth.

The Tigers welcome Dion Prestia from a hamstring injury, but David Astbury hasn't been rushed back from his Achilles problem.

There is an AFL debut for ruck-forward Samson Ryan as he is handed his first Tigers call up.

Daniel Rioli and Josh Caddy drop out, while Toby Nankervis and key forward Tom Lynch remain sidelined.

St Kilda also come off the bye, prior to which they had lost four of the last five games.

When last seen in Round 13, the Saints slumped to another low as they led 36-0 in Cairns only to lose 66-60 to the Adelaide Crows.

The loss followed defeats to Geelong Cats, Western Bulldogs and Sydney Swans.

St Kilda's only win in the last five games was against bottom of the ladder North Melbourne.

St Kilda are strengthened by the return of both Seb Ross and Tim Membrey after both missed the defeat to return home to Melbourne.

Ruckman Rowan Marshall is available again after a foot injury and he comes in at the expense of Paul Hunter.

Daniel McKenzie also comes back into the Saints side.

Hunter Clark (jaw) and Jack Bytel (concussion) are both missing this week, while Jack Lonie and Nick Coffield are left out.
