The Kangaroos have won the last two matches at Bellerive Oval against the Kangaroos and have beaten them by 50+ points in their past three matches. North Melbourne have been getting pounded every week, conceding just under 120 points per game and averaging a loser margin of 50+ points.
Port have not been consistent inside 50 this season but should see some more quality opportunities and with the pressure off them with this match likely being a blowout, we should see the Power forward line thrive and get a confidence builder.
The Power will cover the 41.5 points as favourites and it is also expected that they will clear their Team Total of 107.5 points, like many teams before them against the Kangaroos.
- Port have won the past three matches against the Kangaroos by an average margin of 63.66 points.
- The Kangaroos have an average losing margin of 51.4 points.

- Port Adelaide has scored 117 points or more in their past three games against North Melbourne.

North Melbourne suffered their seventh 40+ point loss in eight games in Round 10, going down to the Bombers 106-66. It certainly could have been worse with essendon taking their foot off the gas in the fourth quarter after leading by 45 points at the final break.
The positive for the Kangas is that they covered the line for the first time since Round 1, which didn’t help all of us that backed the Dons 50+.
The match against Essendon was just another contest where North Melbourne cannot get any ball Inside 50 let alone take a marks in the area. The Kangas average just 44.6 Inside 50’s per game, worst in the AFL along with 9.3 Marks in the area which also ranks them in eighteenth.
North Melbourne Team News
Colby McKercher is recovering well and is suspected to return after the midseason bye. Miller Bergman suffered a hamstring injury against Essendon and will be out for a month.
Jackson Archer and Hugh Greenwood will be tests later in the week.

Port escaped a devastating upset in the final play of the game against the Hawks with Darcy Byrne-Jones soccering the ball for a goal to give the Power a 80-79 win after being down by 41 points 22:30 into the third quarter.
It was another unpolished performance from Port Adelaide to say the least and another match where their inaccuracy in front of goal almost cost them 4 points.
The telling tale is looking at the difference between Port’s goal percentage per Inside 50’s to their scoring shot percentage to Inside 50’s. The Power are ranked third in the AFL in Scoring Shot Efficiency per Inside 50 converting at 47.2%, although, their efficiency to get a major is ranked tenth in the AFL at just 22.6%.
