Sydney Swans moved back into the top 4 of the ladder after a controversial two point win against Geelong Cats last Saturday.

The Swans looked set for defeat when Jeremy Cameron took a mark in front of goal, only for it not to be paid.

The Swans did impress the last time they travelled to the MCG, destroying last year’s premiers Richmond 117-72 back in Round 3. 

The Swans have been incredibly accurate in front of goal, ranking in the top three for goals per game and goal accuracy. They are also first in goal assists.

Lewis Melican hurt his hamstring against the Geelong Cats last weekend and was subbed off during the match. 

Melican is likely to miss a couple of weeks and misses this game along with Isaac Heeney.

Veterans Lance Franklin and Dane Rampe return for this week's clash with Melbourne.

George Hewett remains out following the concussion protocols, but Robbie Fox is recalled.
