GWS Giants can boost their finals aspirations with a win over Carlton when the sides meet at Metricon Stadium on Thursday. Defeat to Collingwood last weekend all but ended the Blues' finals hopes, but the Giants are firmly alive after getting the better of Fremantle Dockers.

GWS Giants breathed live into their season when getting the better of Fremantle 91-53 in Perth on Saturday, but head to the Gold Cost needing to repeat the win against the Blues.
A win could see the Giants back in the top eight, should Melbourne Demons go down to Sydney Swans earlier on Thursday. But regardless of the outcome of that match it is crucial they get the points to stay alive in a congested middle of the ladder.
GWS will be without Josh Kelly through concussion, but Jeremy Finlayson comes back ino the side.

Carlton are in a win-at-all-costs scenario if they are to make the finals with last week's 72-48 defeat to Collingwood a hammer blow to their hopes of making the finals. They led at half-time and three-quarter time, but went goalless in the second half of the game.
