Carlton looked to mount a big 4th quarter comeback against the undefeated competition leaders Geelong last round but fell flat at the final hurdle going down by just over 2 goals. The early news is that Carlton could welcome back a host of players from the injury list. Adam Cerra, David Cunningham and Orazio Fantasia will all be given time and will be up for selection if they make it through the tests through the week.

Mitch McGovern is still at least a week away while the rest of the crew in Lachie Fogarty, Caleb Marchbank, Jack Martin, Jesse Motlop and Adam Saad will look to return successively over the next 2-4 weeks.
